The SILFA Values
The fundamental values upon which SILFA was created and operates are the ethical professional standards that apply to each of its members according to the jurisdiction where each is located, as well as the ethical code of the C.C.B.E. - Conseil des Barreaux de la Communauté Européenne.
In addition, SILFA has created clear organisational methods and procedures in order to promote and maintain a secure basis of understanding and cooperation between its members bound to highest standards of ethics and quality of work as set forth in the SILFA code of conduct.
The main goal of these two axioms is to maintain close, trustworthy relationships with the member clients and to maximise the capability of each office when dealing with international matters.
Apart from their regular contacts, all members meet every 6 months in a general assembly.
The business, finances and affairs of SILFA are managed by the steering committee, which operates according to SILFA statutes and in accordance with any directions that may be given by the general assembly.
